LE9AZ is an emerging artist whose journey into music is rooted deeply in passion, perseverance, and purpose. Growing up, he was heavily influenced by some of hip-hop’s most respected lyricists. Artists like Eminem and Nas played a major role in shaping his early appreciation for storytelling, raw emotion, and lyrical depth. As his musical taste evolved, the introspective and motivational sounds of J. Cole further inspired him to step into his own voice and begin creating music.
What truly sets LE9AZ apart is his motivation. Beyond fame or success, his driving force comes from his family. As both an artist and a father, he is constantly pushing himself to be better—not only creatively, but personally. This balance between responsibility and ambition fuels his work, giving his music authenticity and emotional weight.
In 2024, LE9AZ released his newest EP, “Alter Ego,” a project that represents growth, self-reflection, and artistic evolution. The EP showcases multiple sides of his personality, blending honest lyricism with modern hip-hop production. With several singles already lined up for the new year and plans to begin working on his third EP, LE9AZ is clearly building momentum.
While he has not yet landed major collaborations, his goals are set high. One of his aspirations is to eventually collaborate with artists connected to Dreamville, a label known for cultivating lyrical and soulful talent. Though his journey officially became serious only this past summer, LE9AZ has been making music since high school, carrying a dream that never faded—even through hard times.
