Big Jon’s return to the music scene has been defined by steady growth and perseverance. After releasing his EP on January 1st, 2025, he spent the year performing at small open-mic venues throughout Baltimore. During this time, he gained exposure through podcast interviews, written articles, and an interview on the internet radio station Chicago 77.3.
As the year continued, Big Jon recorded Level Up at Lounge Studios in New York City on September 3rd, 2025. In October, he returned to Baltimore to record new music, beginning with Don’t Mess With the Flock. The diss track targeted the Baltimore Ravens organization, addressing poor performances and playoff struggles during the Lamar Jackson era. The song was released on November 5th, 2025.
He followed with the release of Persona on December 24th, 2025, and is now preparing to drop The Flames in January. While releasing new music, Big Jon has also been working hard to secure management. His goal is to tour across the country and collaborate with high-profile artists.
Big Jon’s drive comes from honoring his family. In October, his grandmother passed away at age 89 due to kidney failure. After her funeral in November, he pledged to continue pushing forward to make her proud.
In 2026, Big Jon plans to travel to Los Angeles in March to record Reload while continuing to perform and seek new opportunities.
