Printz Tone grew up singing along to whatever played around the house, but he never tried to
be anything more than himself. His upbringing in Clinton, NC, combined with years of global
exposure during his military service, shaped a unique perspective on music and creativity. To
him, music is supposed to evoke something — not confusion, not complexity — but an
immediate feeling. As he explains, “Music is all about the feel… I want people to feel my music.”

His latest single “You Got Me” is built around that exact principle. The track came from the
energy of summer days. “The song personally means to me that it’s summer — it’s a feel-
good song,” Printz says. There’s no hidden meaning, no overthinking — just a smooth, upbeat
vibe meant to make you move and enjoy the moment. When asked what he wants listeners to
take away from the track, he answers simply: “I want my listeners to feel good… it should
almost make you want to dance a little.”

“You Got Me” is proof that sometimes the best music is the kind that doesn’t try too hard —
it just feels right.
