Lil Baby has officially released his latest single, "Dead Fresh," marking his first collaboration with legendary producer Pharrell Williams. The track was first unveiled during Louis Vuitton's Menswear Spring-Summer 2027 runway show in Paris, where Pharrell, the brand's Men's Creative Director, introduced several new musical collaborations.
On the record, Lil Baby reflects on his rise from humble beginnings while celebrating his success, even acknowledging Pharrell's production with a lyric that highlights the beat's creator.
A music video directed by Kid Art is set to premiere on Monday. Teasers for the visual showcase a luxury lifestyle, featuring golf, exotic cars, and high-end fashion.
The song debuted at Louis Vuitton's fashion presentation held at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, where Pharrell also premiered new music from artists including Quavo and YoungBoy Never Broke Again. Since joining Louis Vuitton, Pharrell has frequently used the brand's runway shows as a platform to debut exclusive music.
"Dead Fresh" follows the release of Lil Baby's fourth studio album, WHAM, which arrived last year and featured guest appearances from Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Future, and Young Thug. According to the song's official announcement, the new single signals the beginning of a major new phase in Lil Baby's career.
