While “Rich Baby Daddy” remains one of the pair’s most recognizable records, their chemistry continues to spark attention across Drake’s latest releases. Over the weekend, Sexyy Red took her support to another level by posting a photo on Twitter beside a gigantic billboard in Toronto promoting Drake’s new music.
The billboard featured a smiling picture of the two artists alongside the bold message:
“GO GET MY BABY DADDY ALBUM WTF!”
Interestingly, although the billboard mainly promoted ICEMAN, Sexyy Red actually appears more heavily on the other projects from Drake’s recent triple-album rollout. Her track “Cheetah Print” from MAID OF HONOUR has already become a major talking point online, even earning Pitchfork’s coveted “Best New Track” recognition. Still, not everyone is sold on the song, as some critics have pushed back against its energetic club production and playful tone.
Meanwhile, the pair’s other collaboration, “Hurrr Nor Thurr” from HABIBTI, showcases a softer and more restrained performance from Sexyy Red in an R&B-inspired setting.
